Our Vision

To give people a Hope and a Future.

In West Pocket over 50% of people live in poverty. Literacy is over 68%. Poverty destroys their hope and steals their future. As educators, we wanted to make a lasting change and eliminate poverty. We established Kenya Gather to enable our work.

We teach about the principles of God’s Kingdom and give opportunities to learn employable skills. We began building schools in rural communities that have otherwise been forgotten.

Our Mission

Demonstrating the love of God to impoverished communities through education and vocation projects.

DEMONSTRATING THE LOVE OF GOD.

One trait of God’s love is that it is practical. So to demonstrate that love, we are meeting a practical need by teaching employable skills. When otherwise marginalized tribes have a way up and out of poverty, they gain a sense of value and worth and give more opportunities to their children.

TO IMPOVERISHED COMMUNITIES.

Poverty is real and the impact is devastating. People lack food, clothing, and hope. They are marginalized and stuck in this cycle that destroys generations.

THROUGH EDUCATION AND VOCATION PROJECTS.

Simply giving free hand-outs enslaves people in poverty. We want to do better. The cycle of poverty has some of its roots in lack of education, marginalization, and lack of jobs. As educators, we knew we could make a powerful impact and enable people to work their way out of poverty’s grip by dealing with the lack of education.
